What is Red Light Therapy?

Red Light Therapy (also called photobiomodulation) uses specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light that penetrate the skin and interact with cells. This process supports cellular energy production, circulation, recovery, skin health, and overall wellness.

What does Red Light Therapy help with?

Many clients use Red Light Therapy to support:

• Body contouring
• Skin tightening and collagen support
• Reduction in the appearance of cellulite

• Weight Loss support
• Inflammation support
• Muscle recovery and joint comfort
• Circulation
• Overall wellness

How does Red Light Therapy work?

During a session, specific wavelengths of light penetrate the skin and reach the cells.

These wavelengths help stimulate the mitochondria — the “powerhouse” of the cell — which can help support cellular energy production and natural biological processes.

Is Red Light Therapy safe?

Yes. Red Light Therapy is non-invasive and drug-free. It has been studied for decades and is commonly used in wellness, recovery, and aesthetic settings.

Our team has completed advanced light therapy training and certification to ensure safe and effective sessions.

How long does a session take?

Most sessions take about 20 minutes on the lights followed by 10 minutes on the vibration plate.
Your first visit will also include a consultation so we can get to know you and find out your goals.

How many sessions will I need?

Most clients benefit from multiple sessions over time.

Some people notice changes within a few visits, but consistent sessions are usually recommended for the best results.

We will create a plan based on your goals.

What areas of the body can be treated?

Red Light Therapy can be used on many areas including:

• Abdomen
• Flanks / love handles
• Thighs
• Arms
• Back
• Hips
• Areas of skin concern

Does Red Light Therapy hurt?

No. Most clients find it comfortable and relaxing.
You may feel a gentle warmth from the lights.

When will I see results?

Results vary from person to person.

Some clients notice early improvements within a few sessions, while others see gradual changes over time with consistent treatments.

Lifestyle habits such as hydration, activity, and nutrition can also influence results.

Is there any downtime?

No. Red Light Therapy requires no downtime, so you can return to your normal activities immediately after your session.

Is Red Light Therapy the same everywhere?

Not necessarily.

Different clinics use different equipment, wavelengths, and protocols. At Lean Life Center, we tailor each session based on your goals and combine multiple light systems to provide a customized experience.

Can Red Light Therapy be used with GLP-1 weight loss medications?

Many clients using GLP-1 medications choose to add Red Light Therapy to support body contouring, skin tightening, and recovery during weight loss.

Do I need a consultation?

Yes. Every client receives a brief consultation before their first session so we can understand your goals and tailor your treatment plan.

What should I do before my session?

For best results we recommend:

• Drinking plenty of water before and after your session
• Wearing comfortable clothing
• Refrain from alcohol on the day of your session

• Maintain a nutritious diet on the day of and the day after your session
